David Ornstein, a famous journalist from The Athletic, reported that Manchester United are preparing to stop interested in Manuel Ugarte’s deal. After Paris Saint-Germain set a high price of 51.4 million pounds. Manchester United are not willing to pay that high and are planning to look for other options instead.

Reports have suggested that Manchester United will not return to talks over Ugarte unless PSG lower their asking price. The Ligue 1 champions are also desperate for cash. After spending a large sum of money to buy Joao Neves from Benfica for around £60m and are not considering lowering their asking price. As they believe there are a number of teams interested in the player at the moment.

Last season, Ugarte made 37 appearances in all competitions for PSG. Helping Luis Enrique’s side win the Ligue 1 title and the domestic cup. But the Uruguayan has only started 21 league games and failed to start a single Champions League knockout round game.
