Coach Sakon suggests restructuring the 7-Color Student Football Team, taking out rising stars from the national team and bleaching them again.
Teacher Sakon Kliangprasert, football coach of Monthong Wittaya School and former head coach of Surasakmontri School, posted on Facebook about the 7HD Sports Champion Cup 2024 7-a-side football competition, which recently ended with the championship of Phattharabophit School, stating that the rules should be changed.
Professor Sakon posted a message saying, “It’s over for a good football tournament for students, which is the 7-a-side student football tournament. The champion of the 7-color sports tournament must congratulate this year’s champion, Phattharabophit School from Buriram, and give encouragement to this year’s runner-up, Rajvithi Bangkaew School, Samut Prakan. Even though the result came out as a huge win. We must admit that the hearts of Rajvithi Bangkaew athletes fought. But they couldn’t fight for some reason, many of you can understand.”
“We have been competing for many years for the 7-Color Sports Championship. Should we revise the rules? The old rules have not improved in many ways. Normally, 7-Color aims to find rising stars to help the country. But now, it is not like that because now we are taking rising stars from the national team and bleaching them to be the 7-Color Champions. Looking at it, it seems strange. But if the 7-Color Competition is over and we can create rising stars for the national team. We consider our organization of the competition to be successful because it helps the country. Personally, I do not want to see this football competition become a tour football to seek benefits because it is an amateur student sport. Do not bring in professional football. Otherwise, it will lose the magic of 7-Color Football, rising star football aimed at the ยูฟ่าเบท national team.”
For the 7-a-side student football competition, the 7HD Sports Champion Cup 2024, it is considered a short-legged football competition that has been very popular in the past with excitement both on and off the field. In the final round, Phattharabophit defeated Rajwinit Bangkaew 7-1 to win the first championship.
